Catholic Camporee

The 2019 Catholic Camporee will be held at the Cricket Holler Scout Camp in Dayton on November 1-3, 2019.

The Camporee will feature a Holy Day mass for All Saints Day on Friday evening and a Sunday vigil mass on Saturday evening.

Registration will open September 1, 2019, and the target cost for the weekend will be $20/person.

Planned events will include:

• Earning the St. Kateri Tekakwitha religious activity patch
• Programs featuring Ohio Valley native American tribes
• Liturgy of the Hours
• A Vocations Panel discussion (one of the requirements for Ad Altare Dei and Pope Pius emblems)
• Scout Skill activities including orienteering, First Aid and Native American games
• Saturday potluck dinner
• A service project

The Committee is looking for both youth and adults to serve on the Catholic Camporee Staff. The Staff will meet on weekends prior to the Camporee to plan for the event. If you are interested in being part of the Staff, please contact Harry Heaton.
